Author's Name: Malushri Kalita Babulal

Abstract—This : Ljungstrom Air Pre-Heater is a regenerative type of heat exchanger used for preheating the combustion air, mainly in thermal power plant. The warm gas and cool air ducts are arranged to allow both the flue gas and the inlet air to flow simultaneously through the air preheater. The hot flue gas heats the rotor material and as the rotor rotates, the hot rotor section moves into the flow of the cold air and preheats it. The air pre-heater is not essential for operation of steam generator, but they are used where a study of cost indicates that money can be saved or efficient combustion can be obtained by their use. The decision for its adoption can be made when the financial advantages is weighed against the capital cost of heater in the present paper we have taken up the operation and performance analysis of ljungstrom air preheater 33.5v at 2110 (720) of 2x660 MW capacity NTPC Thermal Power Plant, Khargone, M.P. In analysis of performance preventive measures for corrosion of heating elements has been studied, and also air heater leakage, corrected gas outlet temperature and finally gas efficiency has been calculated. In comparison of ljungstrom & rothemuhle type air pre-heaters found that ljungstrom air pre-heater having better performance.

Author's Name: S. Srileka, P.Subbulakshmi

Abstract—This The title itself indicates that the system checks the moisture content in the soil, based on that pumping motor will automatically pumps the water into the field. Here we are using soil moisture sensor. By using this sensor, we can find whether the soil is wet or dry. If it is dry, pumping motor will pump the water. In this system, the main controlling device is microcontroller. Here soil sensor will give the status of the soil to the microcontroller, based on that microcontroller will display the status of the soil on the LCD and switch on or off the pumping motor through relay. The pumping motor will pump the water into the field by using drip water system until the field is wet which is continuously monitor by the microcontroller. In irrigation process, most parameter of monitoring is soil, so we have to monitor the soil condition, whether the soil is dry or Wet. If it is dry, then by using pumping motor, water has to be pumped automatically. The main aim of our system presenting here is to monitor the moisture content in the soil in cultivating field. Based on soil moisture, pumping motor will be automatically switch on or off through relay. This saves the water at the same time and on the other hand the plant can get optimum level of water, so increasing productivity of crop.

Abstract—Development of sustainable construction materials has been the viewpoint of research efforts worldwide in recent years. Although the use of Portland cement is unavoidable, many efforts are being made to minimize the use of Portland cement in concrete. It is time to deploy new technology materials like geopolymers that offer waste utilisation and emissions reduction. An alternate to the OPC has been found out known as geopolymer concrete (GPC). In this study, GPC will be made of fly ash incorporating alccofine in various percentages of 5%, 10% and 15% as partial replacement to fly ash. Alkaline activator for geopolymerisation was prepared by mixing various concentration of Sodium hydroxide solution at 10M, 13M and 16M with Sodium silicate solutions are used. Control mix is casted for M30 grade concrete. The samples are proposed to be cured by hot-curing for 24 hours and mechanical properties were examined. The result was examined that, at 16M concentration of sodium hydroxide with 5 to 10% replacement of alccofine the strength properties was being increased due to the higher leaching out of silica and alumina with higher molar concentration which increases the geopolymerisation process inturn increases the strength properties.

Assessment of Seasonal Variation of Groundwater Quality
Author's Name: SETHU MOL JACOB, AJMAL S

Abstract—This Geo-statistical techniques were applied to groundwater quality data to investigate spatial distribution analysis and controlling mechanisms of groundwater chemistry and seasonal variability of groundwater quality parameters in Central delta of Godavari River, East Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, India. Groundwater samples were collected from 15 observation wells and analyzed for 13 water quality parameters in pre and post monsoon seasons during the year 2015. The results revealed that groundwater quality were distinctly different between two seasons. The finding indicates that concentration of pH, Total Dissolved Solids, Sulphate, Chloride, Alkalinity, Total hardness, Calcium, Magnesium, were found above the standard limits prescribed by BIS. The study also indicates that a moderation in water quality was observed after the monsoon season which can be attributed to a possible dilution due to clear groundwater recharging effect of precipitation by monsoon. The present study suggests that geostatistics is helpful for analyzing the spatial distribution and seasonal variation distinguishing the influences of natural factors on groundwater chemistry

Author's Name: Kishor R, Mahesha K, Ganesh Acharya

Abstract—The system aims at increasing the success graph of students using Naïve Bayesian and the system which maintains all student admission details, course details, subject details, student marks details, attendance details, etc. It takes student’s academic history as input and gives students’ upcoming performances on the basis of semester. The aim of the system to predict the student performance on the basis of different parameters related to previous year using data mining classification and clustering. An educational institution needs to have an approximate prior knowledge of enrolled students to predict their performance in future. This helps to identify promising students and also provides them an opportunity to pay attention to and improve those who would probably get lower grades. As a solution, we will develop a system too predict the performance of students from their previous performances using data mining classification and clustering. By applying the K-Means and its improved K-Means. The student performance is usually stored in student management system, in different formats such as files, document, records, images and other formats. These available students’ data could be extracted to produce useful information. However, the increasing amount of students’ data becomes hard to be analyzing by using traditional statistic techniques and database management tools. Thus, a tool is necessary for universities to extract the useful information. This useful information could be used to predict the student performance.

Software Defects Prediction Using Machine Learning Algorithm
Author's Name: R. Anusuya, Sadhana Yadav

Abstract— Software quality is one of the essential aspects of a software. With increasing demand, software designs are becoming more complex, increasing the probability of software defects. Testers improve the quality of software by fixing defects. Hence the analysis of defects significantly improves software quality. The complexity of software also results in a higher number of defects, and thus manual detection can become a very time-consuming process. The K Neighbors Classifier (KNN) exhibited high accuracy (0.99) and well- balanced precision (0.98), recall (0.96), and F1-Score (0.93), indicating robust predictive capabilities. The Ensemble model, a kin to the Decision Tree, demonstrated exceptional accuracy (0.99) and perfect precision, recall, and F1-Score, affirming its effectiveness in software defect prediction.

The trade balance and net export monetary value of a country's exports and imports over a given period
Author's Name: Rubebecca John

Abstract— This The trade balance, trade balance or net export (sometimes called NX) is the difference between the monetary value of a country's exports and imports over a given period. Sometimes a distinction is made between the trade balance of goods and a balance for services. The trade balance measures the flow of exports and imports over a period of time. The trade balance concept does not mean that exports and imports are "in balance" with each other. If a country exports more value than it imports, it has a positive or positive trade balance, and conversely, if a country imports more value than it exports, it shows a trade deficit or a trade balance. negative business. In 2016, about 60 out of 200 countries had a positive trade balance. The idea that a bilateral trade deficit per se is bad is itself rejected by trade experts and economists. Payments and receipts of residents of the country in their dealings with residents of other countries are recorded in the country's balance of payments accounts. If all transactions are included, payments and receipts in each country are equal and should be equal. Any obvious inequality simply leads one country to acquire assets in another. For example, if Americans buy cars in Japan and have no other transactions with Japan, they must hold dollars that they can keep as bank deposits in the United States or in any other US investment. US payments to Japan for cars are offset by Japanese payments to individuals and US institutions, including banks, for the acquisition of dollar-denominated assets. In other words, Japan sold American cars and the United States sold dollars or assets in Japanese dollars, such as treasury bills and office buildings in New York.
